Simple Budget is designed as an offline-first Android budgeting app. Core usage does not require creating an account or connecting to a remote backend.

Information the app stores

Your data is used only to provide the app's features, including recording information, showing summaries, managing app content, and supporting local backup or export actions that you choose to use.

The app does not require cloud storage, account registration, or server-side syncing for its core functionality. Data entered into the app is not sold by the app.

If you use backup, restore, or export features available in the app, the files created or selected are handled on your device or through services you choose. Their privacy practices depend on the storage or sharing method you use.

Because your information is primarily stored on your device, protecting access to your data also depends on your device security, such as screen lock and storage protections.

Children's privacy

Simple Budget is not directed to children under 13, and the app does not knowingly collect personal information from children through a remote service.
